Spenser House

Spenser House | About

Spenser House is a two-bedroom children’s home located in Herne Bay, providing a warm, nurturing environment for young people aged 5 to 18. We support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and mild to moderate learning disabilities, delivering individualised, child-centred care tailored to each young person’s needs and aspirations.

The home offers a comfortable and homely setting, including a large lounge, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, and spacious bedrooms that young people are encouraged to personalise. A welcome box is provided on arrival to help each child settle in.

Spenser House also benefits from a large garden and a dedicated games room with leisure facilities such as a pool table and projector, promoting positive engagement and enjoyment.

Our experienced staff team provides consistent, nurturing support while encouraging young people to engage in community activities, build confidence, and develop independence. At Spenser House, we are committed to creating a safe, stable, and supportive environment where children can thrive and achieve positive outcomes.
